History

Founded ninety years ago, Maroochydore RSL Sub Branch was established in May 1932.

The Maroochydore and District Ex-Servicemen’s Club was officially opened in November 1972 and at that point in time the business activities of the Maroochy RSL and the Maroochydore and District Ex-Servicemen’s Club were arranged as separate entities, keeping close relations with each other.

Since 1972, Maroochy RSL has provided a social licensed venue and vital services to support the work of our Sub Branch for veterans and our community.

We’re proud to offer you a friendly, appealing community environment for meeting friends and family, enjoying free entertainment, dining in our great value bistro, and having fun in the Kidzone!

Our award-winning venue is well-known for our excellent service with a smile. Come and join us today and relax at our Café, Bistro, bars or in our well designed Events Centre – we have it all. There’s even easy parking or a free bus service for members and guests.

Maroochy RSL is committed to a 100% community focus – when you visit you are part of our 100% Community giving back to the Sunshine Coast. We are 100% not-for-profit and this means every time you visit us for a coffee, lunch, dinner or to catch up with friends you are contributing to our local community too. Since 2015, Maroochy RSL has donated a total of $17 million to Veteran & Community Groups throughout South East Queensland.
